Byte Lab is a technical blog that discusses systems hacking and the tech industry. Topics range from how to become a linux kernel contributor, to the basics of how virtual memory works, to how to exploit systems for the purposes of learning how to secure your own.

The blog is maintained by me, David Vernet, a writer and systems engineer. I work for the Linux kernel team at Meta, though my opinions and posts are all completely unaffiliated with Meta.
